Please read these terms carefully before using PromptVault. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PromptVault in any manner, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use our platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of PromptVault after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
User Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. PromptVault reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.
- Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication where available.
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
- Do not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
- One account per person — multiple accounts may be merged or terminated.
Permitted Use
PromptVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may browse, purchase, and use prompts listed on the marketplace. Sellers may create, list, and sell their original prompts subject to our Seller Guidelines.
Intellectual Property
All content on PromptVault — including the platform design, logos, software, and curated collections — is owned by PromptVault or its licensors and protected by applicable IP laws.
When you purchase a prompt, you receive a license to use that prompt for the purposes described in its listing. You do not receive ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Sellers retain ownership of their prompt content and grant PromptVault a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote their listings on the platform.
Payments & Refunds
All purchases are processed securely through our payment partners. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
Due to the digital nature of prompts, all sales are generally final. Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if the prompt is materially different from its description.
- Sellers receive 70% of each sale; PromptVault retains a 30% platform fee.
- Payouts are processed within 14 business days after the refund window closes.
- Fraudulent chargebacks will result in immediate account suspension.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Posting, selling, or using prompts that generate illegal, hateful, or harmful content.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or copying platform content without permission.
- Impersonating other users, creators, or PromptVault staff.
- Attempting to bypass security, payment systems, or access controls.
- Listing prompts that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- Using the platform to spam, phish, or distribute malware.
Disclaimers
PromptVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or results of any prompts listed by third-party sellers. Always review a prompt's description and ratings before purchasing.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptVault and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PromptVault in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or at our sole discretion with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your license to use the platform ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP rights, payment obligations, and disclaimers) will remain in effect.
